First day of soccer

Today was the first day of soccer. With three kids playing, it makes for a crazy Saturday. All of the kids play at different fields. Grace's games are all at 12:00, Cade's games are all at 12:30, Jacob's games are at different times but at least four of them are at 12:45. It will be interesting to figure out how to get to all of them.

Game #1: Jacob is number 10 and is a very social player. He keeps trying to talk to everyone on the field.
They won: 4-3

Game #2: This is Grace's first game ever. She loved it.
They won 1-0

Game#3: We only caught the tail end of Cade's game. They won 10-0

Montana

The best part of our vacation was visiting Amber and her family. We are so happy that Kathy and the girls could come too.

The tire swig was a hit!!!
We had a picnic at Ryan's Dam??? We are not sure if the name is right.
The suspension bridge was pretty cool. It leads to a small island. There is a sign that warns people to get off the island if they hear eight short blasts. We assume that means the dam is breaking.

We then went to a state park where we went ice blocking. It was a blast. Apparently people don't know about this cheap activity because people kept stopping to watch and wanted to know what was going on.

Thanks Amber and Neil, we had a great time.

Lava Hot Springs

Our vacation this year was a little disjointed. We went to Lava for a couple of days, came home for jr. high registration, kindergarten testing, and a couple of interviews, then went to Montana to visit Amber.
Cade was excited about the Olympic sized swimming pool and platform diving boards.
 Grace loved the curly slide.

We had a great camp spot. It was on someones farm property near the hay fields. It was grassy and we had plenty of space

Jacob had a loose tooth that he didn't want out. Grace tackled him to the ground while we tried to pull it out. Jacob hates to pull teeth!!!

The campground had the Portneuf River run through it. There was a nice, but cold, swimming hole.

We also floated down the Portneuf River. It was a blast!!!
